It is the first game in the series of ‘Dark Souls’. In starting, From-Software wanted to create the sequel of Demon’s Souls , but due to Sony’s interference this game was created. The game takes place in the fictional kingdom of Lordran. Players are assumed to play the role of a cursed human character who later discovers it is the fate of undead humans like themselves.

This game was not created by director Hidetaka Miyazaki because he was busy directing Another game although he was still involved in supervision of this game. It was released in 2014 for Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. In 2015, an Updated version was release which name is The Lost Crowns which is the one of the content of Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, which is downloadable for Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One
Dark Souls III
It was released for Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in 2016. The pace of this game is faster than the previous game . In this game the player has to end the cycle of linking the Flame and this game takes place in the kingdom of Lothric. In next 2017, Dark Souls III: The Fire Fades Edition was both critically and commercially successful, with critics calling it a worthy and fitting conclusion to the series
