Theo James is not confirmed to be in Season. The rumours have been going on for a while and it’s unclear what has happened with him. But he may still show up at the last minute or even later seasons if they are renewed.

What is your favourite scene in the first season of Sanditon? I really loved Lady Denham’s party because it was such an amazing event to watch. It had so much drama going on!
Who is your favourite character in the show? I like Lady Denham because she’s a very strong woman who doesn’t take any nonsense. She also has an excellent sense of humour and makes me laugh!
What are you most excited to see happen in Season two? I’m looking forward to seeing how Teddy will react when he learns about Theo James’ disappearance; from Sanditon – it should be interesting!

Plot:
The season two storyline continues where it left off in Season one. It then goes to London and tells the story of Emily’s family there as well as her search for Mrs Smith/Theo James character.
There are also new characters that come into play at this point such as Elliot who was an old friend of William Beckford (Mrs Smith). Alongside him, we see a painter who has his own inner demons which he shares throughout the series through painting them on canvas but never finishes any paintings until meeting Theo James’ character and they work together to get their creative juices flowing again!
Theo James’ character features in some flashbacks to the past but we don’t know much about him.
When will it be released? –
We’re still not sure when season two will release but it won’t be as soon as you think! If this were a TV show then probably late 2019 or 2020 would be more accurate as with most shows they usually have a break before releasing another series so that viewers forget everything that has happened in previous seasons (and there are plenty of twists and turns!).
What will the storyline be? –
While there’s no official synopsis, what we do know is that Emily and her family try to figure out how they can live together again. This season also tackles death, grief, love, betrayal and forgiveness in a dark tale that focuses on these themes so it sounds like an emotional roller coaster!
Will Theo James return as Sidney? –
We don’t have any confirmation at this point but seeing as he was such a key character in Season one then chances are high that he’ll come back for season two too (we hope!). It would make sense though if his absence from the second series means he’s been killed off or has left town because of all the problems with him and Harriet
