Fans of the popular Canadian comedy show, Letterkenny are eagerly awaiting for season 9 to come out. It was announced that the new season would be premiering on August 20th, 2019! The cast includes Jared Keeso as Wayne and Nathan Dales as Daryl. Along with Melanie Leishman and Michelle Mylett who will return in their respective roles as Katy and Gertrude. Season 9 is set two-and-a-half years after the events of last year’s finale (season 8). Needless to say, we can’t wait for this long-anticipated release date!

The world is a big place. With its changing climate, shifting politics, and fluctuating social norms there are many stories to be told – but not all may have an audience ready or willing to listen.

As the world is constantly changing, so too are people. With this in mind, season nine will see a new member of The Good People joining the crew – and they’re not exactly as squeaky clean as one might think.

The time jump will have some effects on people, but we won’t spoil any more than that. You’ll just have to tune in.

Season nine will see a new member of The Good People joining the crew – and they’re not exactly as squeaky clean as one might think.

Flashback at the previous seasons:

The new season of Letterkenny is the first production by New Metric Media.  After a year off, it’s back for Season Nine with all-new episodes and characters. But this time, we’re shaking things up in order to give our favourite gang something else to think about other than getting into one bar fight after another. And while change can be scary sometimes – or always depending on your perspective – there are also some great moments that come out of it as well when you least expect them.”

New Metric Media has taken over production from what started as a YouTube show.

Letterkenny Season Nine will have all-new episodes with familiar characters but they’re no longer just fighting in bars.  There’s some change coming that’ll make the townspeople ask themselves “what happened to our home?”
