Never Have I Ever Season 4

Ever since it was revealed that filming for the fourth and last season of the smash hit Mindy Kaling Netflix original, Never Have I Ever, had covered in August 2022, fans of the show have been eagerly awaiting word on its return to our screens. Unfortunately, if you lived hoping to see the final chapter of the coming-of-age drama at any issue this month, then you will be disappointed to learn that Never Have I Ever season 4 is not returning to Netflix in January 2023.

The Mindy Kaling written and directed show, which has moved on to win the People’s Choice Award for the Comedy Show of the Year in 2021 and 2022, has a 93% score on Terrible Tomatoes and is one of Netflix’s top plays.

With season 3 finishing on a cliffhanger between Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) and Ben (Jaren Lewison), we are sure you’re anxious to return to the theaters of Sherman Oaks High and find out what happens next. Luckily, you can find all the responses you need about the Never Have I Ever season 4 release date and more correct here.

Never Have I Ever season 4: Release

Netflix confirmed that the comedy sequel is returning in 2023, unfortunately, as of January, an exact release date for Never Have I Ever season 4 hasn’t been declared yet. However, the wait for success hit might not be too much longer. As mentioned, filming covered in August 2022, so it’s fair to suppose that the show choice return in the first third of the year.

In September 2022, the official Twitter account taunted that Never Have I Ever season 4 was coming soon, and while earlier the series stuck to spring and summer releases it’s not overly far-fetched for us to think that the fourth and last installment could be removed in the first couple of months of 2023.

We are sure that over the next rare weeks, more details on the show’s official release will be revealed. Until then, make certain to stay tuned to Netflix Life.

Never Have I Ever season 4 cast

Big new cast members and character announcements have been made for season 4 – Michael Cimino will be entering the cast as Ethan, the new Heartthrob at Sherman Oaks High. We also expect most of the major participants to return, so that is:

  • Maitreyi Ramakrishnan as Devi Vishwakumar.
  • Poorna Jagannathan as Dr. Nalini Vishwakuma.
  • Richa Moorjani as Kamala Nandiwadal.
  • Darren Barnet as Paxton Hall-Yoshida.
  • Jaren Lewison as Benjamin “Ben” Gross.
  • John McEnroe as himself.
  • Ramona Young as Eleanor Wong.
  • Lee Rodriguez as Fabiola Torres.

There’s also Benjamin Norris as Paxton’s best friend Trent, Niecy Nash Betts as Dr. Jamie Ryan, Utkarsh Ambudkar as Mr. Kulkarni, Sendhil Amithab  Ramamurthy as Devi’s dad Mohan and Ranjita Chakravarty as Devi’s grandma Nirmala, among others.

And it wouldn’t be the sequel it is without John Patrick McEnroe as the narrator, with Andy Samberg loaning his vote to Ben’s episodes.

While there could be any notable scarcities in season 4.

While we have had confirmation that Paxton (Darren Barnet) will be before, despite heading off to institute(or college, depending on what flank of the pond you are from), Aneesa (Megan Suri) was MIA in the final two episodes, so it’s not clear if she will coming back.

What will happen in the fourth season of Never Have I Ever?

Devi was able to earn a slot at a prestigious study school for her senior year, which would have increased her chances of getting into a prestigious university. However, she decided to stay in Sherman Oaks so that she could spend as much time as she could with her mother and friends before moving on to the next stage of her life.

That means she will be unable to escape Ben after their final encounter (and possibly have sex with them after offering him “one free boink” following the news that both Eleanor of Aquitaine and Doña Fabiola had lost their individual Vs).

Will Devi and Ben’s relationship progress further this time?

Trent, who failed his last year, will also continue to attend school, but Paxton is moving to Arizona to pursue his studies, so we may not see him again. However, we’re sure he’ll be committing to some serious face-timing sessions with his friend, so Barnet’s face may occasionally appear. Devi was invited to visit him as well, suggesting that our protagonist may be planning a road trip.

With the old year serving up a new set of challenges, expect plenty of acting and some heartfelt points, too.

Speaking about failing her mother to cancer before in 2012, show creator Mindy Kaling told Marie Claire: When Devi forfeits her father in the first season, the suffering does not go away. He is always there.

“I feel the same way about my mother. Her loss affects me constantly. But as it draws farther and farther away, the focus shifts in the manner I’m currently grieving her passing. I can now remember the lessons I gained from her when she was young and well more than the days when she was ill and dying.”

Cast member Jaren Lewison hinted that “season 4 is the best” yet in an exclusive interview with RadioTimes.com.

You know, I want to inform you of everything but I think I’d get in danger. However, I will say that genuinely  I say this every time but I think per season just brings better and better and better.
