The new trailer for “Knock at the Cabin,” released just ahead of the film’s premiere, shows Dave Bautista in full-on psychopath mode as he leads a group of followers away from society after society collapses on itself. The high-concept suspense thriller is about what happens when someone knocks on your door, and you have to decide whether or not to let them inside your home. M. Night Shyamalan directed and co-wrote with Gary Dauberman, director of last year’s breakout horror hit “It.” “Knock at the Cabin” stars and was written by Shyamalan and Gary Dauberman. The latter also directed the film, which was produced by Jason Blum (of “Split” and “Get Out” fame) along with Ashwin Rajan (“The Bye Bye Man,” from Shyamalan).
