‘Man to Man’ is a Korean drama. It’s a romantic drama-thriller that aired on tvN. The story revolves around the relationship between two men.
The series was written by Won-Suk Kim, who also wrote “Descendants of the Sun,” and directed by Chang-min Lee , who previously directed “My Love, Madame Butterfly” and “Midas”.
Plot of the Series
A celebrity Yeo Woon-gwang needs a bodyguard and then hires Kim Seol-woo ,a handsome as well as mysterious man who is trained in special investigations and also has many talents. But, In reality, Seol-woo is a NIS black ops agent and has his own agenda of playing the role of bodyguard to achieve his goals. The drama is known for its twisty events which they encounter and the budding bromance between the star and bodyguard.

But little by little, their feelings evolved and they became a supercouple.

The Rating of the Series
The drama’s ratings started high at the beginning and it was around 5% then it dropped to 3% in episode 8 before rising again to 4%.It kept getting better until episode 14 with 6.1% when it was surpassed by “The Best Hit” at 6.2% and also surpassed Man to Man’s rating with the final episode at 6.4%.
It generated a total of 21.7% in all of its 16 episodes.

“Man to Man” has been nominated for Best Drama by the Grand Bell Awards. It received a nomination for “Viewers Choice Best OST” in 2016 SBS Drama Awards and “Viewers Choice Best Couple Award” in 2016 cable TV Drama Festival. The series received a nomination for “Best New Batch Drama” in 2016 MBC Drama Awards. In 2017, at the 30th Korea Drama Awards, it won a total of five awards, including drama, best director in a drama, best actor in a supporting role (Kim Do Yoon), best newcomer (Kim Do Yoon) and best actress (Song Ji-hyo).
