‘Furiosa’ is a character featured in the 2015 film “Mad Max: Fury Road”, portrayed by Charlize Theron. ‘Furiosa’ is one of the few fertile women left in a dystopian world, which makes her very valuable to others even though she has no desire to be either a sex slave or child bearer. Her backstory reveals that her once-proud tribe were massacred and enslaved by the despotic Immortan Joe.

Who is ‘Furiosa’ ?
In the story of ‘Furiosa’, she was a big part of the war machine. Ever since her childhood, she has been trained to be an attack leader in Immortan Joe’s army. She had learned to fight and survive as a child.
As she grew up, Immortan Joe saw that Furiosa was extremely talented at warfare and he made her his top general. She and Immortan Joe’s army were so successful that they beat all of their enemies. After years of winning and conquering, Immortan Joe decided he would retire.
The only thing Furiosa wanted was to be given her own war rig. Her wish was granted, but she was told that if she couldn’t successfully lead the war rig and its crew, Immortan Joe would take it back and give it to someone else.
What do we Expect from the movie ?
We are expecting that we will see the same intensity which is shown in Fury Road. George Miller described Fury Road as a film set in an “environmental nightmare” but ‘Furiosa’ is a movie set in an ecological nightmare”. We will also see the origin of this character. Watching these Actors in different roles and seeing their performance is going to be amazing. It also is a movie with a message to the world. Even though this movie is based on the main Character . It is showing us life after the Dystopian world .
What is the World Building of ‘Furiosa’
‘Furiosa’ is based on an all-female group of drivers who assist the Immortan Joe, who are referred to as “Sisters”. Both groups have the same number of eyes and wear the same eye-covered helmets, with no discernible gender. We will see a lot of action in this movie which we haven’t seen in the other movies.
The world of this movie is a post-apocalyptic scenario. The world has been over-run by gas and oil, as well as nuclear war. The water is getting scarce and new diseases have started to emerge. Food covers less than half of the previous amount; the remainder being biofuel, and food finds its way into one’s body via consumption of bullets or eating it with a bullet. At times, these toxic substances are served in balls called “peanuts”.
