A French American crime drama, “Yellowjackets” is set in Paris, France, and follows the lives of a team of elite cops who work out of the capital’s criminal police’s anti-gangster brigade. The show offers a gritty insight into their dangerous and complex world. ‘The renewal of ‘Yellowjackets’ for Season 3 is Confirmed. Its upcoming season may see the show’s storyline changing altogether,’ Ryan hinted. “Yellowjackets” season 3 is currently in development and has not yet received an official release date on NBC. ‘Yellowjackets’’ runaway success in Season 1 and the premiere of Season 2 shows the success, popularity, and love of the fans towards “Yellowjackets” and we wanted to maximize the momentum by fast-tracking Season 3 soon.

“Yellowjackets” season 2 release Date:

    Yellowjackets Season 2 premieres on Friday, 24 March 2023. It is set to arrive on Showtime and Paramount Plus. Filming is currently continuing in Canada after starting in late August 2022.  The official Yellowjackets Twitter account disclosed it that Daisy von Scherler Mayer is directing episode 1.

“Yellowjackets” Season 2 Trailer:

The “Yellowjackets” Season 2 trailer was released on June 10, 2022. The trailer was officially released on the official site of Yellowjackets. The series stars Kevin Duhaney as Walter, Marianne Rendón as Misty Bishop, Melanie Lynskey as Shauna Sheridan, and Daniel Sunjata as Travis Burke. The first season consists of 13 episodes and is to be aired on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET (8 p.m. CT) starting 24 March 2022, in the United States with it moving at 10 p.m. ET (9 p.m. CT).  The second season will consist of 13 episodes and season one also had 13 episodes.

“Yellowjackets” Season 2 Plot Summary:

Season 2 is set to pick up where the previous season left off, with Walter and Shauna attempting to fake their deaths to evade the FBI. Thus, they become fugitives and begin a journey in which they must leave everything behind and start their lives anew under different names. As Shauna’s name becomes publicly leaked as a traitor, she is sent back to Paris while Walter travels to Canada — where he meets two new additions to the cast: Jackie (Ella Purnell) and Lottie (Simone Kessel), who are also on the run from the authorities.

“Yellowjackets” Season 1 plot summary:

   One stormy night, Walter Bishop is caught creating havoc at the home of an innocent family, but his wife Shauna Sheridan was also caught. The culprits were reported to be in an accident and died. But Walter wakes up to find himself alive in a morgue, claiming that he is someone else and not Walter. He then goes on a mission to find out who he is, with the help of ex-FBI agent Travis Burke and his wife Shauna Sheridan. The search leads them to Paris France where they find out that Walter was once an elite undercover cop named Jack Bauer.

But the trio encounters more problems when they discover that Shauna isn’t who she claims to be either, and her real name is “Misty Bishop” a drug lord in Paris. As Walter and Travis begin to unravel the Web of lies behind him, Walter realizes that he’s nothing more than a pawn in something bigger. The traitors include his wife Shauna Sheridan, his mentor Bureau Chief Burke, his friend Jackie and even “The Network”, an international crime syndicate that wants nothing more than to take over the world.
