The Netflix series had a lot of anticipation and hype built up around it, but unfortunately, it was not enough as fans saw their favorite series end without proper closure. However, showrunner Vanessa Piazza told Vulture that the show was canceled after a “very short” process. “This was not just a short-order show,” she explained. “We did everything we could with this show. We were very, very ambitious about how we were going to tell this story. It was not a low-budget indie, to begin with. We had a huge, huge crew, and we shot all around the world.”

Bloom also has low self-esteem, which made her relatable. The show also introduced feminism with Bloom being the heroine and the depiction of Stella as a strong female character. The Winx Club was beloved by fans because it was an entertaining program for young children and teens.
