We’ll be keeping an eye out for more information as it becomes available to us, so stay tuned and never stop being thankful that Marvel has given us the third instalment to this wonderful series.
The Cast of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3:
Chris Pratt as Peter Quill/Star-Lord
Zoe Saldana as Gamora
Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer
Vin Diesel as Baby Groot (Voice)
Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon (Voice)
Karen Gillan as Nebula
Sean Gunn and Pom Klementieff in undisclosed roles. Not much is known about who these two will play, but they’re confirmed characters for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. Three! They were both also present on set during filming, so we know they’ll have a significant role to play in this third instalment. It’s likely that at least one of them plays an original character that was created for the film.
Pom Klementieff is also playing Mantis, a character who has been seen in past Guardians of the Galaxy films as well!
Sylvester Stallone plays Stakar Ogord/Starhawk (Deceased) and he’s rumoured to be digitally de-aged for this role. This would make sense considering he was present on set during filming, but it doesn’t seem like his name appeared in any production or casting listings so far. It may just have not yet been revealed.
We know that Thanos will return after getting back up at the end of Avengers Infinity War which means we’ll see him come into conflict with our heroes once again when they are tasked with defending the galaxy once more.
The film starts production this July and will be filming until at least December with a tentative release date for May 2020 pending any unforeseen delays that may come up during filming or postproduction.
