Reviews and Ratings:
Netflix’s HunterxHunter Season five is out! Reviews and ratings say it has a solid four-star rating on Netflix. You can tell that the animation is much better than seasons one through three, which makes sense considering how long ago those were made in 2014. The plot of this season was great too–it followed Killua as he attempted to take back his brother Illumi from Kurapika (a hunter who want revenge for killing off his clan). It also shows more about Gon’s father Ging Freecss and the other members of the Phantom Troupe are up to while they’re not with Gon. This season follows closely after the last so don’t forget to finish watching Season four before you start watching Season five.

Hunter x Hunter is known to be one of the best anime series ever created by some people.”
At first glance, Hunter x Hunter may seem like a typical shounen story; with lots of action scenes in which the main character defeats strong enemies; to achieve his goal. But it becomes more than that after some time as you notice how deep their characters are; Gon Freecss who has set off on an adventure from hunter exam registration site; to become hunters get stronger and at the same time loses power when he gets to the tower of heaven.
Hunter x Hunter is as much a coming-of-age story; about Gon and his friends living their dreams, which makes it more than just another shounen fighting series. The action scenes in Hunter x Hunter are always intense, and the animation quality has been improving throughout the seasons. So even if you don’t enjoy anime battles or deep characters; there’s still something for you here despite some flaws with pacing at times.
