Pose Season 3: Recalling the Best Moments from the season! Reviews and Ratings of the show.

Season 3 of Pose 1

In the final instalment of Pose’s third season, Angel has a new adversary in Pray Tell. The conflict is reminiscent of last year’s finale when she faced off with Elektra Abundance. There are also some emotional moments as Blanca and Stan celebrate their wedding and Damon gets released from prison!

But what about the ratings? Did they live up to expectations? What were people’s thoughts on this episode? Read below for our review and see how you feel after reading it!

The Finale!

For the finale, Pose’s producers have given us a high-stakes action sequence. The scene is reminiscent of last year’s finale when Angel faced off with Elektra Abundance. There are also some emotional moments as Blanca and Stan celebrate their wedding and Damon gets released from prison! This season has been so good that I can’t help but feel disappointed by this episode’s lacklustre portrayal of these events. We should be celebrating – we’ve come full circle in such an amazing way! But to leave it on something like a rescue mission feels anticlimactic for what could have been such an epic finale.

I don’t know if I’ll ever get over the fact that we have no idea what happened to Elektra Abundance, but it’s worth noting that this season has been a huge success and Pose is more relevant than ever! It may not be perfect for everyone (and there is always going to be flaws with any show), but I’m looking forward to seeing where they take us next Spring!

About the show:

The first episode of Pose’s third season is a powerful and vital return for the show after its overdue cancellation. The final scene, in which Damon (Ryan Jamaal Swain) leaves prison for an emotional reunion with Blanca (Mj Rodriguez), Stan (Evan Peters) and Angel (Indya Moore), reminds us why we need this show so badly.

We’re introduced to new characters like Adamari Lopez as Lulu Abundance – Elektra’s sister-in-law who now runs her drug empire; Nicole Foxx as Michelle Bowden, a trans woman on parole looking for work while she tries to get back into society; Terence Carter as Kordell, who now runs the House of Abundance.

Pose Season Three Premiere Review:

The first episode is a powerful and vital return for the show after its overdue cancellation

Important to note that we are introduced to new characters like Adamari Lopez as Lulu Abundance – Elektra’s sister in law who now runs her drug empire, Nicole Foxx as Michelle Bowden a trans woman on parole looking for work while she tries to get back into society, Terence Carter as Kordell who now runs the House of Abundance.

The scene in which Damon leaves prison for an emotional reunion with Blanca (Mj Rodriguez), Stan (Evan Peters) and Angel (Indya Moore) is a beautiful and resonant moment

The show will continue to break boundaries with its plot, the trans characters are more empowered than before in season three.

Cast for Pose Season 3:

– MJ Rodriguez

– Evan Peters

– Indya Moore

– Dominique Jackson

– Angelica Ross.

The show continues to break barriers with its cast and their trans characters are more empowered than before in season three. In Pose, the director is credited as a woman for the first time; Janet Mock (creator) who was previously an executive producer on Transparent also provides co-executive producing credit alongside fellow EP Ryan Murphy.

This season we have seen Blanca come into her own power. After being confined in Season two; when she had no choice but to rely too heavily on Stan’s wealth. Which made him feel like he held all of the cards during that season. It has been amazing seeing this character progress from being a meek and troubled soul to being a woman who is confident in her sexuality.

Best Moments:

The most touching moment from season three; was when Pray Tell’s character, Damon Richards gave his final speech; about what he has learned over the course of his life. But more importantly how he plans to live out the rest of it; with love instead of fear which is something we should all strive for as humans

This is what we have been waiting for all this time. We were introduced to new characters which made it refreshing. It’s not just about the old cast anymore but also people from different backgrounds who need our support as well.
