Lucifer season 5 has been confirmed to premiere on Netflix sometime in 2020. That’s a long wait, but it sounds like the showrunners are taking their time to make sure that this is an amazing installment. In the meantime, here’s some information about Lucifer season 5 and what you can expect from it:

What is the plot of Lucifer season 5?
The plot of lucifer season five is still being kept under wraps, but there are a few hints that we do know:
The final scene from the last episode of Season four shows Chloe Decker sitting at her desk and typing “Ending.” This might imply that she was writing the ending to the show. Or it could just mean this particular story arc has ended; either way, it’s not really clear what this means for future seasons or episodes.
We also know from promos that Charlotte Richards (played by Tricia Helfer) will return as both an antagonist and protagonist during Season Five. But again, don’t take anything for granted because she could betray her allegiances and just not care about anyone.
Before the release of Season five, there will be one additional episode that airs on March 28th, 2020 as a bridge between seasons four and five. The synopsis for this episode is: “In ‘Enemies,’ with his place in a society gone, Lucifer sets out to rebuild it using Chloe’s new detective agency.” But don’t take anything too seriously because he might end up just destroying everything again like he always does.

Aimee Garcia is Ella Lopez-Fitzgerald who is a human doctor that specializes in oncology and hematology at Saint Francis Hospital. Michael’s wife, Dr. Linda Martin (played by Tyne Daly) is also an oncologist but she works for St Jude Medical Center in Los Angeles where she treats patients with blood cancers such as leukemia or lymphoma. They are both seen treating Kate when she was being treated for her cancer during Season Four Episode One ‘All About Her Mother.”
Naveen Andrews will be back to play Dr. Malcolm Goode, a psychiatrist who works at the Coronet Institute for Mental Health where Lucifer is committed after attempting to commit suicide in Season Four Episode Eight ‘Lucifer Rising.”
Kevin Rankin will be back to play Detective John Decker of the LAPD and David Dastmalchian as Father Kinley, an ex-priest and therapist that helps people with their faith during tough times.

Bethany Joy Lenz will be back as Chloe Decker, Lucifer’s on-again/off-again girlfriend and LAPD detective.
Father Kinley is a therapist at the Coronet Institute for Mental Health where Dr. Goode works and Ella Lopez-Fitzgerald is an intern doctor there who helps with cancer patients not just from St Francis but all over LA County.
Aimee Garcia plays Doctor Ella Fitzgerald while Tyne Daly plays Linda Martin – Michael’s human wife and Bethany Joy Lenz reprises her role as Detective Chloe Decker in Season Five of “Lucifer”.
