Lucifer Season 5 is finally coming to Netflix! Lucifer Season 4 ended on May 28th, and we’ve been waiting for the release date of Lucifer Season 5 ever since. Luckily, the wait is almost over! We now know that Lucifer season 5 will be released on October 2nd, and it’s set to have 10 episodes in total.

Exciting Cast for Season 5:

In addition to revealing the release date, showrunners Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich also announced some exciting new cast members: Lauren German as Chloe Decker; Tom Ellis as Dr Linda Martin; David Duchovny as Arthur Hastings (a consultant who helps with cases from a different perspective); Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez (Chloe’s partner at Homicide).

About the show:

Lucifer Season is a TV series that’s based on the comic book character of the same name. The show follows Lucifer Morningstar, who abdicates his throne in Hell and moves to Los Angeles where he owns an upscale nightclub called Lux. There he becomes part of Detective Chloe Decker’s team but remains working as an LAPD consultant for cases involving people from all levels of society including local politicians and Hollywood celebrities. One day, when he was walking home during one such case investigation, Lucifer finds himself being pursued by two demon bikers with guns (later revealed to be rogue angels) …

Fans are anxiously awaiting news on Lucifer season six. Following reports that this year could very well be the show’s last; but there may still be hope for more episodes yet.

As we head into Valentine’s Day 2019. It looks like Season Five will tackle some of our favourite romantic topics; love lost, hearts broken and others found again? You never know what Cupid might have in store.

Lucifer Season Five Release Date: January 29th, 2019

Number of Episodes in Lucifer Season Five: Ten episodes. The series will be split into two parts; with the first five premiering on January 29 (US) and four more to air later this year.

Lucifer Season 5 Plot:

The fifth and final season of the American television series; will be based on a story in which Lucifer has been ousted from his role as Lord. With both God (voiced by Nicholas Turturro) and Amenadiel abandoning him. After having spent some time living at Lux’s penthouse apartment; in Los Angeles, he is forced to relocate following complaints from new neighbours. It is revealed that Diana has taken up residence there as well. While also working for an organization dedicated to regulating supernatural activity around the world; Lucifer decides not to move out since they are now friends.
