In this article, we will provide you with reviews of the show as well as an overview of the cast members and their performances. We’ll also give you some ratings for each episode from both critics and viewers alike!

Premiere:

The show is written by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec, who also worked on other projects such as “Dawson’s Creek” or “The Vampire Diaries.” It premiered on September 29th, 2010 under the name of The CW, a channel specialized in producing American television programs airing mainly teen-oriented series. Its first season concluded April 2012 with 22 episodes aired. Season two was confirmed for production after being renewed for another year and it began broadcasting from October 11th, 2012 until May 15th, 2013 when its finale episode aired. A total of 17 episodes were broadcast during that time span which made up this second season. Sadly enough though, it did not get renewed for a third season.

Story:

The show is about Elena Gilbert who moves from Mystic Falls to Seattle with her mother, Jenna Sommers. She reunites with her old friends and meets new ones at a new school while all the time trying to discover why she’s having these strange dreams of vampires attacking people in some sort of ritualistic fashion. The main villain for this series was Katherine Pierce but it turns out that there are more than one and they have different plans which will be revealed as we go on through season two.

Cast:

The cast includes Nina Dobrev as Elena Gilbert, Ian Somerhalder as Damon Salvatore, Paul Wesley as Stefan Salvatore, and Kat Graham as Bonnie Bennett.

Rating:

It has an average rating of five stars based on reviews by critics’ websites such as Metacritic or Rotten Tomatoes where its score sits at 83%. Some complaints were made because it had not been renewed for another year even though it had a very good rating.

review:

In the first few episodes, we get to see that Jenna Sommers is in charge of this new school with her mother but she doesn’t seem quite right when it comes to what’s happening lately. She wakes up from dreaming about vampires attacking some people during the daytime.

Paul Wesley plays Stefan Salvatore in the series who is constantly worrying about his sister, Elena Gilbert played by Nina Dobrev with what she’s been through ever since her parents died. He would never let anything happen to her and he will do everything that it takes for him to protect her from all harm even if it means risking their relationship.

Ian Somerhalder portrays Damon as a man who likes good things but also gets into trouble sometimes because of how he acts on impulse without thinking of the consequences first. But deep down inside, despite not being able to show it often due to some reasons which we won’t get into this time around, you can feel that there are still remnants of humanity left in him after all.

This is one of the reasons why Damon Salvatore has been my favorite character in The Vampire Diaries throughout. One thing about him that I admire though is his ability to forgive and forget even if he’s the person who’s being wronged or betrayed by someone close to him, which can be seen with Katherine Pierce (portrayed by Nina Dobrev).

When we first met Katherine, she was portrayed as a woman from another time who loved power more than anything else. She had no qualms using her beauty and charm on men for her own personal gain but also didn’t hesitate to use it against them too when they were not cooperating enough for her liking. However, things changed during season three…

Katherine and Damon were mortal enemies who had tried to kill each other on many occasions, but she soon became one of the most important people in his life. This was because they found out that their love for Elena Gilbert (portrayed by Nina Dobrev) ran deep both as friends and lovers…

On top of this, when Elena died during season six after having to sacrifice herself to save Bonnie Bennett’s (portrayed by Kat Graham) life, it seemed like nothing could come between them anymore.

However, at some point, while he was grieving over her death with Caroline Forbes (portrayed by Candice King), we started seeing more of a softer side from him again – which is why I don’t think that he’ll be able to resist another chance with her.

Besides, it’s not like Katherine would want him back if she discovered how much of a type-A personality and power-hungry individual Caroline is.
