It’s not yet known if he will be played by Wagner Moura or Diego Luna as there are conflicting reports suggesting that it could either actor playing him. What is Narcos Mexico about?

Narcos Season three will explore the origins of a drug trade that has had profound and devastating consequences for both the United States and Mexico. The first two seasons explored Colombia’s Cali Cartel led by boss Gilberto Rodríguez Orejuela with his brother Miguel Angel Rodriguez as a head accountant. As we know, this one is about Mexican Drug Lords; it seems likely it would also focus on either the Sinaloa cartel or Juarez cartel who are trying to take over Central America’s cocaine market.

What can we expect? El Chapo’s escape from prison has been confirmed already so don’t worry about spoilers! But what else should you know before watching Narcos’ third season?

Narcos Mexico Season three will premiere on November 16, 2019. It’s a binge-watchable show that is sure to leave you wanting more and the temptation of spoilers should be avoided at all costs!

Narcos Mexico Season 3

Cast:

The cast for this series includes Tenoch Huerta as Miguel Angel Felix Gallardo, Ilza Rosario Mazé as Elvira Hancock, Diego Luna as Guillermo Diaz Soto y Fuentes aka “El Güero”, Brian Jaraquemada who plays Pedro Pesqueira Mendoza (EPF), among many others including Mexican actors like Alejandro Patiño and José Octavio Talavera.

And Narcos Mexico is set to be just as addictive and riveting, as well as filled with the same levels of suspenseful storytelling that made fans fall in love with this crime thriller series originally developed by Roberto Gómez Bolaños…

In the same vein as Narcos, this series is based on real-life events. It tells the story of how Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo became one of the crime’s most powerful kingpins and ruled over Mexico with an iron fist before he was eventually captured by a team led by a DEA agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena in 1985.

What to Expect:

Narcos Mexico Season Three follows El Güero’s quest for power, showing his alliances with other cartels such as Guadalajara Cartel – which sets up the infamous rivalry between Amado Carrillo Fuentes aka “The Lord Of The Skies” (El Señor De Los Cielos) and Gallardo.

The series will also explore the rise of Rafael Caro Quintero and Miguel Ángel Martínez ‘El Gordo’, two men who would grow to become Mexico’s most powerful drug lords.

The third season is set in 1980, a time when Mexican society was deeply divided as it fought against corruption on all fronts: political, economic and social. The decade saw dramatic changes in the country with an unstable government struggling to maintain order amid escalating violence by drug cartels that were fighting over turf and power.

What happened?

On April 11th 1983 Guadalajara Cartel’s leader Amado Carrillo Fuentes aka “The Lord Of The Skies” (El Señor De Los Cielos) died in a firefight with Mexican Federal Police.

In 1984 Miguel Ángel Martínez ‘El Gordo’ and Rafael Caro Quintero were arrested, which led to the Guadalajara Cartel’s demise.
