Big Little Lies Season three will be released on June 30th, 2019.

This year’s plot was adapted from Liane Moriarty’s third novel of the same name which is set five years after Season One. Some new characters have joined the story including actress Zoe Kravitz who plays Bonnie Carlson—the daughter of Nathan Landry and Bonnie Adler.

Season three will be seven episodes long and it’ll air on HBO in the United States, Foxtel with Prime Video in Australia, CraveTV in Canada and Now TV in the UK!

Plot:

In this episode, the ladies are still grieving over Perry’s death and they’re doing their best to move on with their lives. However, when Bonnie finds herself in a new relationship that she’s unprepared for, it turns her world upside down.

The season opens with Celeste trying to balance motherhood and marriage; while having two full-time jobs at once. As well as an upcoming school assignment—and Jane is about to have another baby! Meanwhile, Madeline has also put her career on hold. Because of postpartum depression but shares an idea for a children’s book that could be just the thing she needs. And Renata struggles with how to find closure after being betrayed by both Nate Sr. and Jr.; who made off with millions of dollars from her family’s company.

After a few months have passed, the ladies are still grieving over Perry’s death. And they’re doing their best to move on with their lives. However, when Bonnie finds herself in a new relationship that she’s unprepared for, it turns her world upside down.

Cast:

The cast includes Reese Witherspoon as Madeline Martha McKenzie (Maddie); Nicole Kidman as Celeste Wright (Celeste); Laura Dern as Renata Klein; Shailene Woodley as Jane Chapman; and Meryl Streep has been announced to play Mary Louise “Mamma” Hubbard in a series of flashbacks only this season!

Season three of Big Little Lies will premiere on the HBO network on June 11, 2019.

Season three will pick up where Big Little Lies left off. And explore the aftermath of Perry’s death that resulted from his abusive relationship with Celeste. The action expands through the characters’ lives in Monterey, California, along the Central Coast of California. The story tackles many mature themes including domestic violence and sexual assault.
