Plotline:
The season follows protagonist Cadence as she navigates life in New York after her father’s death. She moves to Manhattan and starts a new high school where she meets Willow who becomes her girlfriend. Together they attend parties with their friends Val and Zack while trying to work out how best to deal with their grief together. During this time, Cadence also pursues an acting career which leads to dating one of Hollywood’s biggest actors but leaves them feeling disappointed when he dumps her for his latest female co-starlet. Ultimately, everything comes full circle back at home in Brooklyn when a shooting takes place.
