The fourth and final season of Anne with an E is set to air on Netflix this October. What will happen in the final season? We have some updates! The Final Chapter:
It’s hard to believe that we’re nearing the end of our journey with Anne Shirley and her friends. But it’s exciting, too – who knows what twists await us in this final season? It seems like something big is coming for Gilbert Blythe when he meets up with his old friend Harry Marryat again… And can you guess what it may be? We’ll see! In episode one “The Chase”, viewers will also meet a new character from Anne’s past-an African American girl named Beulah Davis. She was living on Prince Edward Island before she moved to Canada to escape slavery (a fact which absolutely astounded me). What important role will she play as the story continues? You needn’t wait until the season airs to find out, though-read on for more!
We will also be seeing some new characters this season. In episode two “The Fog”, we meet another one of Gilbert Blythe’s old friends from his school days in England: Harry Marryat. It seems that something important has happened between them as they catch up – what could it be? We’ll have to wait and see! The newest cast member is Beulah Davis who plays a pivotal role in this final chapter of Anne’s story with her previous encounter with Anne at Green Gables House which changed both their lives forever. Will she help or hinder our heroine now? One thing is certain – you won’t want to miss an episode of Anne’s triumphant final chapter!

Storyline:
Anne Rice’s novel Anne of Green Gables, the series tells the story of a young orphan who is mistakenly sent to live with an elderly brother and sister.
The show centres around an imaginative girl named Anne Shirley (Amybeth McNulty), who has just been adopted by Matthew Cuthbert and Marilla Cuthbert (Stephen McHattie), sibling farmers living on Prince Edward Island in Canada. As she attempts to navigate her new life’s challenges – like winning over friends, dealing with school bullies, or being shamed at church for not having “the talk” yet–Anne finds adventures all over Avonlea that help her come alive as well as joyously take flight!
Anne with an E Season Four: Release Date Updates and Exciting Twists
Release date updates for the show Anne With An E season four are not available. The new episodes will air on Netflix sometime in 2019, just like the first three seasons did. However, there are some exciting twists coming up that fans cannot wait to see! This includes a potential love interest as well as new adventures all over Avonlea. We’ll have to wait until December 2018 to find out more about these upcoming developments. Stay tuned!
In Canada’s Prince Edward Island circa 1900, 11-year old Anne Shirley is mistakenly sent away from her home and family for schooling. Anne, the bookish maid of fourteen-year-old Marilla Cuthbert and her brother Matthew, welcomes this escape from her abusive home life. She is delighted to learn that she will be living at Green Gables – a farmhouse in need of love and repair – with only two people: elderly (and mean) Mrs Rachel Lynde and rosy-cheeked Diana Barry.
Anne’s imagination leads her through play into adults’ lives as well as those around them, until trouble arises for which Anne must find an adult solution: saving Gilbert Blythe’s reputation when he breaks his engagement to Mary Campbell; getting raspberry cordial back from Mr Harrison who has bought up all but one bottle in Avonlea.
