Aladdin’s Disney live-action remake, based on the 1992 animated film of the same name, was one of the biggest surprise hits of 2019. Directed by Guy Ritchie and starring Mena Massoud, Naomi Scott, the blockbuster, Nassim Pedd and Will Smith as Jinn, to name just a few artists, is confronted by the poorly marketed and dubious-looking CG of Will Smith’s blue talent Had to, but everyone’s indifference to the original film was paired with the winning cast and the studio was a huge success due to the animated musical numbers. Naturally, there was a sequel and it was revealed in February that Disney was moving forward with Aladdin 2. What will be this newly announced sequel? Let’s see what we know so far.
Who is directing Aladdin 2?
In early February, it was announced that Guy Ritchie would return to the director’s chair for Aladdin. 2. Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Director for Smoking Barrels, Snatch, Sherlock Holmes since 2009, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadow Homes, and more. More recently, The Gentleman of Last Month was at the forefront of last year’s Aladdin, to name a few titles. Currently busy making his next film, Cash Truck, Richie agreed to make a decision in this new Disney sequel. After completing work on his latest vehicle Jason Statham you will likely work on this new box office hit.
Who is the author of Aladdin 2?
Gatins is an Oscar-nominated screenwriter best known for his flight of writing. Robert Zemeckis, but he also worked on Kong: Skull Island, Real Steel, Coach Carter, Hardball and, most recently, Power Rangers from 2017. Meanwhile, Andrea Berloff is also an Oscar-nominated screenwriter best known for Straight Outta Compton, but she also wrote the World Trade Center, Blood Father, and The Kitchen last year, her directorial debut.
When will Aladdin 2 release?
Aladdin 2 does not currently have an official release date. In the early stage of the film’s development, it is likely that we will not get any confirmation date till the end of this year. Although Disney is already known for announcing its release dates, we can hear a bit about it in this year’s D23. However, if anticipated, the release of Aladdin 2 could fall somewhere between 2023 and 2026.
