A man was purported stabbed to death by his friend during a contention over not buying duck meat for alcohol at Guduvanchery town in Tamil Nadu’s Chengalpattu locale on Saturday.
Friendship Turns Evil
In a stunning episode, a 38-year-old person supposedly stabbed his 43-year-old friend to death during a contention over not buying side dish for alcohol at Guduvanchery town in Tamil Nadu’s Chengalpattu area on Saturday.
The accused, identified as Vasu, is still on the loose. The dead man, identified as Vinayagam, and denounced were friends. They were expedited in some land business and got by selling flowers and driving taxis.
After the legislature allowed reviving of alcohol shops, the duo arranged that Vinayagam would buy alcohol, and Vasu would avoid meat to make side dishes. On Saturday evening, Vasu got a greeting for drinks from Vinayagam, and the two friends went to a tamarind ranch situated in Dargas.
After arriving at the spot, when they sat for drinking, Vasu revealed to Vinayagam that he didn’t bring the meat. Irritated by the action, Vinayagam started contending with Vasu. In the scuffle, Vasu supposedly cut Vinayagam and left from the scene, as indicated by a report of the Times of India.
Afterward, Vinayagam’s body was spotted by bystanders, who gave a call to the police control room. A group of police authorities showed up at the spot, took the dead body under their ownership, and sent it for post-mortem.
The examining authorities have enrolled a case and arrested other suspects for leading the request. Attempts to catch Vasu are in progress.
